Your first step may be to book an intake session if you think you have a feel for your therapist based on our website, a personal recommendation, or after a 15 minute consultation call. An intake or assessment session is where the therapist will briefly go over your rights as a client. Then the therapist will want to gather some history about your life, find out what is supportive in your life right now, as well as what challenges you are facing right now. The therapist may briefly suggest a plan for therapy. You may book your next session.
