During the consultation, we will ask you to explain your issues briefly to ensure that we can help you, then we will recommend a treatment plan or an area of focus. You have the opportunity to ask the therapist questions such as their background. If you feel like it is a good fit, we will likely book your first appointment to get you started.

Your first step may be to book an intake session if you think you have a feel for your therapist based on our website, a personal recommendation, or after a 15 minute consultation call. An intake or assessment session is where the therapist will briefly go over your rights as a client. Your first step may be to book an intake session if you think you have a feel for your therapist based on our website, a personal recommendation, or after a 15 minute consultation call. An intake or assessment session is where the therapist will briefly go over your rights as a client. Then the therapist will want to gather some history about your life, find out what is supportive in your life right now, as well as what challenges you are facing right now. The therapist may briefly suggest a plan for therapy. You may book your next session.


Master's Practicum

Services provided by our Master's Practicum student. Student undergoes weekly supervision meetings, onsite supervision, and trainings by our Clinical Director. We are thrilled to offer this low cost service while mentoring new career therapists.


Individual Counselling

Book a session for one or 1.5 hours; in person or online.
Sometimes talking about your issues can help you articulate the problem and help you organize your thoughts. Gain insight into your situation by learning about how the science and art of psychology can help you build and maintain positive mental health.


EMDR Therapy

Book EMDR therapy to reduce trauma symptoms and limiting beliefs. If during the session, you change your mind and would rather do talk therapy, we can do that. Booking EMDR is more about helping the therapist to make sure they have the online or in person Eye Movement technology available.

Get a thorough assessment of your relationship; prioritize what to work on; gain knowledge of healthy relationships; learn skills on how to increase connection even while in conflict; become friends again; Gottman Couples Counselling trained.
